A
tradition of excellence
In 1964, Madame Ingrid Millet discovered
the beneficial properties of plant cellular extracts on
the skin and was the first to use them in cosmetics, as
a mean of combating premature skin ageing. Laboratoires
Ingrid Millet was established and the first Ingrid Millet
face creams were launched.
The first Ingrid Millet Institute was opened in 1966. Madame
Millet introduced a holistic approach to skin diagnosis
and created the personalised beauty regime of facials and
home-use products.
A quest for enhanced beauty
Continuing ground breaking research
led to the discovery in 1974 of caviar's unique properties
and to the creation of a highly active ingredient, Caviar
Complex. The Perle de Caviar skincare range still remains
today as one of Ingrid Millet's greatest mark of originality
and strength.
International success came quickly; Ingrid Millet skincare
products are exported to over fifty countries. Awards won
by the brand include the 1995 Prize "Officiel de la
Beaute", the 1996 Oscar "Cosmetique News de la
Beaute" and the 2004 award "
Prix
Officiel de la Beaute" for skincare line "Thalassocaviar".
